“The history of The Villa Casa Casuarina inspired me to create the 24 Karat Golden Margarita,” explains Oleksandr (Alex) Petriukfrom. “I’ve always kept my cocktail-making philosophy the same: make simple, whimsical, interesting twists on classics by respecting the base spirit and using the rest of the ingredients to highlight it rather than cover it up.”
He continues: “The 24 Karat Golden Margarita was created with Versace philosophy in mind. I also want people to drink cocktails that are both approachable and tasty. My customers are largely cocktail drinkers, they love to try something new and great for any level of drinker.”
24 Karat Golden Margarita Recipe and Preparation
- 1.5 oz. Don Julio Blanco or Kartel
- .5 oz. Grand Marnier
- .75 oz. fresh lime juice
- .5 oz fresh lemon juice
- .5 oz. orange-infused syrup
- .5 oz. Fresh orange juice
Shake and strain into a wine glass with a salt rim. Garnish with orange, lime and golden flecks.
