While the world still isn’t quite back to “normal”, bars and restaurants are reopening with new safety measures in place. And Lamar Moore, head chef of Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse at Flamingo Las Vegas, has ushered in fall with new and noteworthy dishes such as the Warm Heirloom Beets and Pumpkin Salad and the Roasted Cauliflower Steak with root vegetables mousseline, fall vegetables and fine herbs oil – all to be enjoyed with a perfectly paired seasonal cocktail.
“Inspiration for Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse’s fall cocktails mostly comes from the illusion of a dry smoke, which contributes to another layer of flavor and adds depth to the taste and experience,” said Jamie Mastbrook, assistant general manager of Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse.
The restaurant, which pays homage to vintage Vegas in a modern way, offers several festive cocktails such as the Leather Antique, Into the Mystic, The Bobby Burns, Apple Brandy Crusta and “Moll” It Over.
“My favorite cocktail from our fall offerings is the Leather Antique,” Mastbrook said. “This smoked cocktail is made with Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon Whiskey, created in a local Las Vegas distillery’s smoke wagon, Formula Antica Vermouth, Lustau Palo Cortado Sherry, Amaro Montenegro Liqueur and finished with orange expressed across the surface.”

Aside from the fall cocktails, you can also try the Old Fashioned beverage cart, a tableside experience prepared by a skilled mixologist. You can choose from rum, bourbon, mezcal, or brandy. Citrus options include grapefruit, orange, or Meyer lemon citrus peel while syrup options include five-spiced organic maple, vanilla bean-infused tamarind, or honey ginger.
