6 Drinks To Celebrate World Coconut Day In Los Angeles

High Note at Bibo Ergo Sum

This summer, Bibo Ergo Sum has a killer tequila cocktail on its menu. The High Note is made with Sesame Infused Altos Blanco Tequila, Thai Chili infused Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, coconut cream, pandan syrup, pineapple juice, lime juice, salt solution and garnish with a dehydrated pineapple wheel and a pandan leaf.

Brand New Cadillac at Spare Room

The Spare Room is a modern day gaming parlour and cocktail lounge located on the Mezzanine Level of The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Introduced during the bar’s “An Evening of Tiki” series, the Brand New Cadillac is a frozen cocktail from bar director Yael Vengroff. The green drink is made with Grand Marnier, pistachio cream, Galliano, mango and coconut.

The Island Old Fashion at SOCA

As part of its new Tiki After Ten menu, SOCA in Sherman Oaks offers The Island Old Fashion made with Papa’s Pilar Rum, Plantation Pineapple Rum, Amaro Montenegro, Kalani coconut liquor, Peychauds bitters and garnished with a banana leaf. Created by Danny Natali, the cocktail is available only on Fridays and Saturdays after 10 p.m. and Sundays after 10 a.m.
