6 L.A. Spots To Celebrate National Pizza Day

Put on your fat pants: Feb. 9 is National Pizza Day. Whether you’re into thin pizza crust, deep dish or even vegan, no one can deny a pie. And while L.A. may trail New York and Chicago when it comes to reputation, we certainly have some great pizza joints of our own (and many come with cocktails).

Check out six spots to celebrate National Pizza Day below.

Vegans are certainly not left out of National Pizza Day. Crossroad’s, the plant-based restaurant boasts a Roasted Eggplant and Olive Pizza with cipollini onions, tomato demi, almond labneh and baby arugula as well as the Spicy “Meatball” Pizza on its menu, created with housemade vegan meatballs, calabrese peppers, almond ricotta and micro basil. You may even fool your carnivorous friends with this one because it tastes so much like the real thing. Wash it down with one of their signature cocktails like The Aces High made with vodka, lemon, simple syrup and cayenne pepper.
