L.A.’s Art Beyond The Glass To Live Stream This Year

On Sunday, May 3 Art Beyond the Glass (ABTG) presents “Sipping at Home,” a live telethon that will stream on The Hospitality Life Twitch and Facebook channels.

To help you enjoy this virtual version of ABTG while you’re Safer at Home, some of L.A.’s popular bartenders have collaborated on “To-Go Cocktail Kits” featuring four pre-made craft cocktails and special extras.

Pre-orders are now available at the Sipping at Home online store. Customers will place their order, select one of four locations for pickup (delivery not available), and have the opportunity to tip their bartenders at checkout.

Cocktail kits will be available for pickup at any of these locations now through May 2.

Cafe Stella (Silver Lake)
Here and Now (DTLA)
Olivetta (West Hollywood)
Seventy 7 Lounge (Culver City)

Proceeds will benefit the ABTG COVID-19 Relief Fund, which is supporting LA bartenders impacted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. All tips from Cocktail Kit orders will go directly to the participating bartenders.

The Sipping at Home Cocktail Kits are being made possible by sponsors including Bacardi, Brown-Forman (Fords Gin, Herradura Tequila, Jack Daniel’s, Slane Irish Whiskey), Collectif 1806 (Westland Distillery, Metaxa, Cointreau, Mount Gay Black Barrel, Remy Martin VSOP, Botanist Gin), Mai Tai Mafia (The Real McCoy Rum, Combier, Liquid Alchemist), Amaro Montenegro, Mulholland Distilling, Combier, Westward Whiskey, Future Gin, and Zamora Brands (Yellow Rose, Villa Massa, Martin Miller’s Gin, Double Cross Vodka, Licor 43).

Art Beyond the Glass was founded in 2011 by Daniel Djang and Zahra Bates as a special event for bartenders to showcase their artistic talents when they’re not behind the bar. From cocktails to paintings, photography, live music, DJs, spoken word and more, ABTG is a celebration of bartender artistry inside and beyond the glass. Proceeds from every ABTG event are donated to a local arts-based nonprofit – to date, ABTG has donated more than $210,000 to these vital community organizations.
