Bleecker Street is becoming quite the cocktails destination. First, The Garrett opened in the space above Five Guys. And now, Baker & Co. – from owner Elena Fabiani and chef Riccardo Buitoni – is serving up delicious drinks in the West Village.
While walking by this afternoon, the front windows were wide open and dark but comfortable bar area was ready for business. Baker & Co. will focus heavily on their beer selection, including Italian imports and a selection of 750 ml bottles, as well as the “Beer for Two” option. There will also be an impressive list of vermouth, many infused with herbs like basil and sage.
Baker & Co. also has highly coveted garden seating and is open daily from 11 a.m.
