Barstool Review: Porchlight in West Chelsea

Danny Meyer is taking over the world. Or so it seems. With his latest project, Porchlight, the king of burgers and his partner Mark Maynard-Parisi have branched out into the world of cocktails. Located in far west Chelsea, on the corner of 28th and 11th Avenue, Porchlight officially opens on Monday, March 2 and features a great industrial space with restaurant seating.  After a long day at Whisky Live on Wednesday, we sort of crashed their friends-and-family – and they were nice enough to let us stay.

While we were only at the bar for a couple of drinks (we didn’t get to try the food this time, but will surely be back) we were lucky enough to try the Flagg Day, Sazerac, Sherry Cobbler, the Gun Metal Blue, the Stay All Night and finally the Storm’s Brewin – and you should, too.
