Barstool Review: Sunshine & Co. Brooklyn

I admittedly don’t venture out of Manhattan very often but I checked out Sunshine & Co in Crown Heights last week to meet up with a friend that lives close by. Owned by Sabrina Godfrey and Alexander Hall of the Milk Bar and Blue Bird coffee shops, Sunshine & Co. restaurant / cocktail bar (their first stand-alone restaurant) has the feel of something that you would find in Soho.

They offer a number of classic cocktails as well as some of their own cocktails and they consulted Natasha David of Nitecap and Maison Premiere, and Jeremy Oertel of Donna and Dram. The chef is Julian Calcott, a Corton alum and while I didn’t really eat while I was there (I was too busy drinking) the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.
