Hotel Beaux Arts Miami, an intimate boutique hotel nestled high above the hustle and bustle of Downtown, has launched the Bauhaus Cocktail Program to showcase technique and the art of cocktail design and we are all about the Bauhaus Bomber.
The Bauhaus Cocktail and Presentation is available at the bar in L’Atelier, on the 39th floor every Wednesday. Each hotel guest receives an invitation from his or her personal concierge to attend the special event. The Bauhaus Bomber, an adaptation of the 19th century Aviation cocktail, will also be available on the bar menu during regular hours.
The cocktail features a unique indigo-grey color from the Bitter Truth Violet liqueur, crisp citrus and spice notes from local St. Augustine Distillery New World gin and a Maraschino cherry garnish, specially made in-house.
“The program was inspired by the fundamental teachings of the Bauhaus Art Movement from 20th century Germany of combining the arts and craftsmanship,” Leah Polinski, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, Hotel Beaux Arts Hotel tells Thirsty. “Beaux Arts is an art-inspired hotel, it made sense to introduce the craftsmanship of mixology as part of the total guest experience. The Bauhaus Cocktail reflects the movement and our version of the Aviation cocktail by using unique ingredients.”
