Have you made it to the brunch at Amali yet? Well, you should, since the East 60th Street restaurant recently debuted a new Bloody Mary Bar.
At the Bloody Mary Bar, guests can create their own custom cocktails. Starting with their choice of spirit – Sobieski vodka, Beefeater gin, absinthe, piquillo pepper-infused tequila – guests can then choose a base including clam juice, bouillon cube, basil syrup, and horseradish sauce, as well as an assortment of garnishes and seasonings like bacon, Moroccan green beans, garlic cloves, pepperonicini, celery and truffle salt, and so much more.
One Bloody will run you $15, while the unlimited option is just $35.
The Bloodys pair perfectly with the brand new brunch menu, with items including: Shakshusa Baked Eggs with tomato, chilies, and grilled pita, a lamb Burger with feta, dill tzatziki, red onion and sesame brioche, and Crispy Polenta with wild mushrooms and thyme.
And don’t forget the rosé. Until the end of the month, Amali is celebrating 21 Days of Rosé with a rotating selection of Mediterranean selections including light Provencal and Bandol rosés, medium-bodied rosé from the Cyclades, sparkling and still rosé from Northern Greece, Spanish rosados and many more. The $10 – $16 glasses will be available during apertivo (aka Happy Hour) from 5 – 7 p.m., and Amali’s knowledgeable sommeliers will be on hand to offer suggestions.
