With bars and restaurants slowly getting back to the (new) normal, we are exploring cocktail menus around the country in search of drinks to enjoy both out or at home. And before the summer weather makes way to autumn, it’s time to check out the Cachaça Colada from Epistrophy in NYC.
Made with a blend of cachaça, lime, agave syrup and frozen piña mix, the Cachaça Colada is flavorful and refreshing – for any time of year.
Cachaça Colada recipe + preparation
- 1.5 oz. Abelha Cachaca Silver
- 1 oz. lime
- .5 agave syrup
- 1 cube of frozen Piña mix
- dehydrated lime wheel and pineapple leaf, for garnish
Add Abelha Cachaça Silver to a blender; Add lime and agave syrup. Add 1 cube of Frozen Piña mix (1 part Coconut cream, 3 parts pineapple juice – frozen in ice cubes). Blend all together and pour into a hi-ball. Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel and a leaf of a pineapple. Serve!
