San Miguel de Allende in Casa Dragones Jamming Session Summer 2022

Casa Dragones is back with another installment of Jamming Sessions, a Bartender Exchange Program cocktail competition. This year’s theme: For the Love of San Miguel de Allende, pays tribute to the award-winning tequila’s hometown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Travel & Leisure’s Best City in the World 2021.

For the first time ever, finalists will have the opportunity to join Casa Dragones in San Miguel de Allende and compete in-person for the finale during Barra México, Latin America’s leading bar show.

Here’s how Casa Dragones Jamming Sessions works:

After registering, participants will receive a bottle of Casa Dragones Blanco to create and submit a cocktail inspired by the theme. With further review from Jamming Sessions panel of judges Yana Volfson, National Beverage Director of Casa Mata Group and José Luis León, Bar Manager of Limantour, 18 participants will have their submission videos posted directly to Casa Dragones’ Instagram account, where they will compete for social media engagement. The top eight participants will then receive an all-inclusive trip to San Miguel de Allende, including airfare and accommodations, during the world-renowned bar show, Barra México. Here the finalists will compete in front of a live audience for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

All participants who submit a video of their creations will receive a $100 gift card. The semi-finalists will be awarded an additional $200 and the chance to have their cocktail featured on Casa Dragones’ Instagram. The 8 finalists will be flown to San Miguel de Allende to compete and have the chance to win up to $1,000 grant and a residency in the famous Casa Dragones Tasting Room, also known as the “Smallest Tequila Bar in the World.”.
