On April 15, The Spotted Pig is hosting a wine dinner with winemaker Tracy Brandt of California’s Donkey & Goat Vineyard, where Brandt will be on hand to take guests through California’s new winemaking era with offerings from Anderson Valley, Mendocino Ridge and the El Dorado appellation in the Sierra Foothills. Each vintage will be paired with unique dishes created exclusively for the evening.
The prix fixe menu for the evening is as follows:
Crostini with Nettle Butter & Sunny Side Up Quail Egg paired with Lily’s Cuvee Sparkling Chardonnay, 2013, Anderson Valley
Arctic Char with Herb Mayo & Bacon Ramp Vinaigrette paired with Untended Chardonnay, 2012, Anderson Valley
Tea Smoked Duck with Roasted Radishes paired with Broken Leg Pinot Noir, 2012, Anderson Valley
Lamb Blanquette paired with Fenaughty Syrah, 2011, El Dorado
