For every Woodford Reserve cocktail sold at participating restaurants, the brand will donate to a local cause: in NYC in September to benefit Rethink Food, a non-profit organization working to recover nutritious excess food to provide low or no-cost meals to New York City families in need.
“Our Pair and Share provides a platform to showcase the amazing things our local bars and restaurants in NYC are doing while promoting an amazing non-profit, ReThink NYC,” Michael Toscanini tells thirsty. “Guests get to come together and enjoy amazing food and drinks, while helping fund ReThink NYC to ensure they are able to continue recovering excess food from restaurants, farms, and other food purveyors, and then repurposing and distributing the meals throughout the boroughs to underserved New Yorkers.”
In Richmond, the donation from the Woodford Reserve Pair + Share program will go to COREgives.org, a 501(c)(3) regional organization whose mission is to support children of food and beverage service employees navigating life-altering circumstances.
