And there is no better location to enjoy a much-needed cocktail than the beautiful beaches of Grand Cayman where you can sip he Di Be Leaf cocktail at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa. Made with a refreshing blend of Hendrick’s Amazonia gin, local aloe & lemongrass cordial and Raventos I blanc de blancs, the cocktail was created by beverage manager Jim Wrigley with an eye toward local and sustainable ingredients.
“Sustainability is very important to the team at Seafire, and with that in mind, we created cocktails that would celebrate Mother Earth, not just for one day, but as part of our ongoing efforts to be better to our world,” explains Wrigley. We partnered with Flor de Caña ECO 15 yr— a sustainably produced rum that is Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade certified—and also used Hendrick’s Amazonia gin which is crafted with tropical botanicals from the Amazon rainforest, together with fresh local sustainable ingredients to create cocktails that can be enjoyed in honor of our natural world.”
Dis Be Leaf cocktail + preparation
- 1 oz. Hendrick’s Amazonia Gin
- .5 oz. local aloe vera & lemongrass cordial
- Top with Raventos i Blanc Blanc de blanc cava
Add chilled gin & cordial to chilled flute glass, top with bubbles & serve in a flute; Garnish with local aloe gel paint, edible micro herbs & flowers.
