It’s time to break out the copper glasses for Moscow Mule Day because who does’t love a delicious and refreshing Moscow Mule? The Icelandic Pineapple Mule, crafted by Reyka Vodka Brand Ambassador Trevor Schneider, is a blend of Reyka vodka — made using Icelandic glacier spring water and lava rocks for filtration — pineapple and lime juice and topped with ginger beer along with pineapple, lime and cilantro garnish.
“I think the Mule has stuck around beyond the trend for a couple reasons,” Trevor Schneider, Brand Ambassador, Reyka, tells Thirsty. “First, is everyone’s palettes are getting better as well as more educated on flavors. Second, is ginger is a very versatile flavor and lot of people are not only familiar but they really enjoy it! Lastly, a lot of people like drinking a cocktail out of a copper mug as the guest experiences is enhanced through the vessel. I don’t see it going anywhere for quite some time.”
