El Boricua Cocktail at Bagatelle Meatpacking

In the wake of the devastation in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, Bagatelle is served El Boricua cocktail with 100% of the proceeds aiding the recovery efforts. Created by Juan Coronado, this cocktail incorporates Bacardi 8, made in Puerto Rico, into a light and refreshing cocktail with a pop of bubbles.

El Boricua will be served along with two other charity cocktails La Isla and El Coqui ($17) on Friday, October 6th from 6 pm – 9 pm at a special cocktail affair to support relief efforts. 100% of the profits from it will go to Global Giving’s Hurricane Relief Efforts in Puerto Rico and beyond.

The most popular cocktail from the night will remain on Bagatelle’s menu through year’s end and 100% of its profits will continue to help those in need.

El Boricua recipe and instructions

El Boricua at Bagatelle Hurricane Relief Affair

  • 1.5 oz Bacardi 8 rum
  • .75 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz orange blossom honey syrup
  • 1 oz Prosecco

Method: shake vigorously with plenty ice, double strain into a flute glass and top with Prosecco, garnish with a lemon peel.
