Ladies and gentlemen of Los Angeles, rejoice as famed cocktail bar, Employees Only (EO) officially opens its doors to the public. Following successful EO launches in Singapore, Hong Kong and Miami, the Los Angeles outpost will share the same classic vibe in terms of hospitality, aesthetic and quality that made the bar iconic. West Hollywood should expect much of the same experience as the New York OG complete with the “speakeasy” style psychic fortune teller entrance, art deco design and many of the EO family at the helms. With five bars around the world, Employees Only has not only solidified itself as a globally recognized brand, but also the enduring cocktail bar movement around the world.

The bar program will feature cocktails by legendary Employees Only Co-Founder, Dushan Zaric, to complement the bistro-style food menu of his longtime collaborator, Chef Sascha Lyon. Zaric is partnering with Midnight Hospitality Group’s Steven B. Weisburd and Tom Sopit for the LA iteration and has enlisted Dee Ann Quinones to run the ship as Principal Bartender.
Zaric tells thirsty about Employees Only Los Angeles, “I am thrilled together with Dee Ann Quinones, the EO LA Bar team and Chef Sascha Lyon and his team to have the opportunity to bring this distinctive beverage and cocktail program to EO LA that reflects not only an elevated gastronomical and cocktalian evolution but also to my experience a truly unique integration of top level cocktail offering and hospitality. Employees Only always was and will be about empowering the human experience of our guests and fellow industry and my desire and intention is for EO LA to do that in a way that is appreciated and recognized by our guests and hospitality community”.
The cocktail menu ($16 – $18) will feature EO classics alongside a series of new drinks especially crafted for the Los Angeles location. They will also offer a little game of ‘Spin the Bottle,’ a bartender’s choice, allowing patrons to spin a wheel and select their spirit of choice, and leave the rest in the expert hands of the bar team. On the food side, of course, we have been assured that there will be Tableside Steak Tartare.
