Like it or night, it is already mid-July and we are halfway through summer. Since we are always a glass half full types of folks (we always want to think there is more drink to enjoy,) we will look on the bright side and realize that we still have full half summer to go. That also means that is that time of year when the entire beverage industry descends upon New Orleans, it’s time for Tales of the Cocktail. For industry folks, we will see you down there. For anyone who may not work in all things liquid, Tales of the Cocktail is a bit like the SXSW or Sunday of the Cocktail industry. The biggest names, the biggest brands, the indie up and comers, and the very best of the best of cocktails with everyone bringing their A-Game.
Situated mainly in the French Quarter, Tales also incorporates a lot of New Orleans history and traditions of being one of America’s best hospitality cities with some of the most incredible food, drink, music and culture our country has to offer. For instance, for the foodie sets, there are Spirited Dinners with some of NOLA’s top chefs pairing their dishes with expert Mixologists from hand-selected brands. For those wanting to tackle the academia world of spirits, there are seminars galore on literally every topic you can imagine where you get to learn from some legends and bad-asses in the biz.
