The Goldenrye Cocktail at Jimmy’s in Aspen Is An Apres-Ski Must

Everyone know that any trip to Aspen is not complete without a visit to Jimmy’s in Aspen. And the Goldenrye Cocktail at this legendary apres-ski spot is the final entry on our 12 Drinks of Christmas holiday roundup – for good reason.

Jimmy's Aspen Goldenrye Cocktail

Serving up thirsty snow bunnies since 1997, Jimmy’s – owned by namesake proprietor Jimmy Yeager – has some serious solid cocktails, including this one, made with Woody Creek rye, La Gitana manzanilla sherry, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup, shaken with ice and double strained over one large single ice cube. It’s boozy and refreshing (and will warm you up after a day on the slopes, or just walking around town) and not to be missed.
