Spring has finally sprung, so you know what that means…

La Esquina
Like Habanero hotsauce, this two-cool taco joint is one of Nolita’s “hottest” spots for a Cinco celebration. Boasting a taco stand up front and a sexy speakeasy behind the kitchen, La Esquina is definitely a place you want to be on this happening holiday! For those who want to turn up on this (taco) Tuesday they’ll be hosting a party (with lots of Patron, I’m sure) featuring the latest hits by DJ Chris Liggi!
Empellón Cocina
You know the old adage – One’s company, two’s a crowd, but three’s a party! Well Empellon Taqueria has put it to the test. This dining den has blessed us with three locations to let loose this Cinco de Mayo starting as early as Sunday with a boozy brunch party at their West Village location. And of course, that’s just the beginning, as they’ll be toasting to tequila and tacos for Tuesday’s midweek madness. Pick your poison (and wash it down with a side of Patron)!
Dos Caminos
This Latin lair is always a party! With more than four locations throughout the Big Manzana (Spanish translation of apple), this modern Mexican restaurant and bar will be serving up specials including $5 Sauza Blue Tequila shots and a side of banging beats by special guest DJs all night long. And if you want to get the fiesta started early, join them Sunday night for a night with the Mariachis – Ole!
Louro
A pop-up taqueria? Yes, please! Chef Davis Santos will be serving a selection of tasty tacos from 5 PM to Midnight, including some of his other famous Mexican munchies. And what’s even better, is Louro’s $8 margarita’s ($28 pitchers) and $5-$6 shots of Tequila. Who’s in?
Horchata
Looking for a sweet spot for some South of the Border goodness? Horchata is your place! With $25 perfect pitchers of ‘mazin Margaritas like Blood Orange or Fig , why wouldn’t you want to stop by for a drink…or two! And don’t forget to tempt your taste buds with their popular $5 snack menu of nachos, tacos and other blissful bites.
Mexicue
Arriving just in time for Cinco De Mayo is the grand opening of Mexicue Kitchen & Bar in NoMad, open now on Fifth Avenue. And for Cinco de Mayo – and to celebrate their first week of business – this new location will be serving $2 house-cinnamon-and-chili-infused fireball tequila, Smoky Margs with mezcal, chili simple syrup & mole bitters and Jalapeno and habanero margaritas, all for just $4.
The Chester
These Meatpacking and Midtown eateries (located on the ground level of the Gansevoort Hotel and 33rd & Park) will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with The Hellfire, a fiery twist off of the classic margarita with jalapeno infused Don Julio tequila mixed with fresh lemon juice, red chilies and agave nectar. Olé!
