Hanukkah Cocktails To Try This Holiday Season

It’s the holiday season which means the cocktails get a spirited makeover. And while Christmas undoubtedly reigns supreme as far as winter festivities, we found some delicious and creative Hannukah-themed tipples to try.

Hannukah is the eight-day Festival of Lights to commemorate the re-dedication of the second temple in Jerusalem, with this year’s holiday starting on the evening of December 18th.

As the story goes, the Maccabees in Jerusalem only had enough oil to burn in the menorah for one night but it ended up lasting for eight; we celebrate this miracle with the festive holiday that includes dreidels, latkes and jelly-stuffed donuts called sufganiyot. To celebrate, one candle on the menorah is lit every night, with gifts exchanged and a festive meal enjoyed.
