What To Drink at Harriet’s Rooftop in West Hollywood

Perched atop the upcoming 1 Hotel West Hollywood, Harriet’s Rooftop is the h.wood Group’s new elevated cocktail lounge boasting unparalleled panoramic views of Los Angeles.

Designed by John Sofio of Built, Inc., the indoor/outdoor rooftop space reflects on the decadence of the 1920s and features deep burgundy awnings similar to the ones on patio awnings company in Edmonton, tasseled umbrellas, dark green and white striped furniture, string lights, and greenery framing sweeping views.

Bar Director Justin Campbell crafts floral, seasonal, herbaceous cocktails drawing inspiration from the garden-like setting. Standout cocktails include the Violet Hour with Avión Silver, Crème De Violette, fresh grapefruit, fresh lime and Peychaud’s bitters, the Hibiscus Punch, handcrafted with Cruzan Rum, fresh lime, hibiscus and ginger beer and The Farmer’s Market made with Jim Beam Bourbon, Apricot Cordial, orgeat, fresh lemon, orange blossom honey and mint.

The Lotus Flower Bomb is another popular cocktail made with Control C Pisco, Habanero Aperol, fresh lemon, sparkling wine, lavender lemon balm. Harriet’s also boats a solid selection of wine and beer.

Culinary Director Lord Maynard Llera, a founding alum of Bestia, and Chef de Cuisine Geter Atienza, curates a selection of light and shared classic bites enjoyable for evening and late-night hours.

The limited, but luxe menu includes Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters, Carpaccio, Crudité, Salmon Flatbread,  Waldorf Salad, Baked Mussels and Cheese & Charcuterie. There are also Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies on the menu if you’ve got a sweet tooth.

Harriet’s Rooftop opens at 5 p.m. daily.
