The Mayhaw is the craft cocktail bar that anchors St. Roch Market Miami, a second outpost of the New Orleans-based gourmet food hall located in the Miami Design District, and in celebration of National Cold Brew Day – which was on Saturday, April 20 – and all things cold brew, Mayhaw is serving up the perfect cocktail.
Made with Sabal Coffee’s cold brew and dark Cuban rum, the HAVANA Café cocktail captures the essence of cold brew while keeping the spirit of Cuba in mind.
“The HAVANA Café cocktail is the perfect combination of smooth Havana Club Añejo Clásico rum, strong cafecito and bright lemon twist, highlighting the rich history of Cuba all in one sip,” shares the cocktail’s creator, Gio Gutierrez, co-founder of DRINK MIAMI.
HAVANA Café Recipe & Preparation
- 2 oz Havana Club Añejo Clásico Rum
- .25 oz Demerara Sugar
- .75 oz Martini & Rossi Rosso Vermouth
- .5 oz Cold Brew Coffee
- Garnish with Lemon Twist
- Single Ice Rock
Stir all ingredients with plenty of ice until very cold. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
