We all know the phrase ‘be there or be square.’
Meaning: everyone who is anyone will be there, which is to say if you’re not there, you’re nobody. (via Urban Dictionary)
Well, this phrase applied to everyone last Wednesday evening when Squares welcomed partygoers in for a night of modern jazz hits, beats by DJ Hannah Bronfman and Veuve on Veuve.
Squares is the newest addition to premier hospitality group Quality Branded (Quality Meats, Quality Italian, Quality Eats), and adds to the exclusivity of the NoMad district as it resembles a classic New York society club.

Located in the former wild Riff Raff’s, the nightclub boasts a high-design ‘square’ space complete with over 25,000 Japanese glazed square tiles, some forming mosaic-inspired wall designs like a world globe ‘ship in a bottle’ and stag head. Antique wood accents, stitched leather booths and smoky mirrored panels, along with a fireplace-turned-DJ booth and live music stage help touch on to the private club theme – another successful job done by top interiors and architecture studio Reunion Goods & Services (The Wooly, The Happiest Hour).

Squares Cocktails
As for the cocktail program, Squares’ mixologist and industry veteran, Bryan Schneider (Quality Eats, Monkey Bar, Clover Club) presents a trendy and inventive menu inspired by OG members club cocktails with hints of the 1980s London society scene. Bottle service is available for clubsluts too.
