Stuck in the city this summer? Might as well brush up on your wine tasting and pairing skills while waiting for the weekends to come: Legasea at Moxy Times Square has a brand new program of classes and wine flight tastings all summer long.
Led by sommelier and Assistant Beverage Director, Nikki McCutcheon, the program kicks off on Thursday, July 12th with “Rosé All The Ways,” where guests will learn all about the different pink wines to choose from, and decide which one to order will hanging at the pool or the beach.
Other classes will include “Wine 101: Backyard BBQ Pairings” on Thursday, July 23rd which is all about figuring out which wines to serve with your favorite summer bites, “Discover Sauvignon Blanc” on Monday, August 6th – there are so many different types of this well-known varietal, and guests will discover their preferred flavors – and “Wine Pairing 101: Down at the Shore,” on August 23rd, a pairing class with a focus on summer seafood dishes.
