1.5oz Gentleman Jack, 0.5oz cold brew syrup .5oz cacao nib infused jagermeister .25oz banane du bresil .25oz ancho reyes 3 drops sesame oil "add all ingredients except the sesame oil to mixing glass, add ice, stir for 25 seconds, strain into old fashioned glass over a hand carved ice chunk. add 3 drops of sesame oil to top of drink.
For cold brew syrup: add 16oz ground dark roast coffee beans to qt container, fill with 12oz filtered water, let brew for 24 hours in a cold dark place. take concentrate and add 16 oz demerara sugar, stir over heat until sugar is dissolved."
2 oz gentleman jack, 1/4 oz sambuca, 1/2 one orange squeezed, 3 dashes orange bitters, 1/4 oz simple syrup, mint sprig for garnish, orange peel for garnish, coat rocks glass with sambucca, fill with ice to chill. In a separate glass, squeeze OJ, add whiskey, bitters, and simple syrup. Stir until chilled. Dump sambucca and ice, fill with fresh ice in rocks glass. strain mix over fresh ice. rub orange peel over rim and add mint sprig.
Gentleman Jack liquore strega owl and whale's barrel-aged cherry bitters (not released, i know the guys) smoked maine maple rock candy Combine 2oz. gentleman jack, .5 liquore strega, and 3 dashes owl and whale barrel aged cherry bitters in a mixing glass. stir for 30 seconds. pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass. serve with smoked maine maple rock candy propped across the top of the glass. there are no stirring straws needed as this is the intention of the rock candy. this is intended to be a variation on the "rock and rye". the patron may stir the rock candy into his/her particular palatable sweetness level. then sip away!

Initial scores will be based on the interpretation of the written description submitted. This person will display total breadth and aptitude in their abilities as a professional bartender over the course of the competition and across multiple varying challenges.
