What to Drink on July 4th in Los Angeles

This Fourth Of July, skip the backyard Budweiser and PBR in favor of a polished patriotic cocktail. In the “spirit” of Independence Day, check out four red, white and boozy libations that Lady Liberty would certainly approve of.

The All American at Boa

The standout is the One If By Land made with dry sherry, East India Sherry, Antica Piedmontese Vermouth and orange peel, served in a cedar wood smoked lantern. In addition to serving up American favorites including the hot dogs, burgers. BBQ Fried Chicken and garlic freedom fires, the bar will be showing nostalgic patriotic movies on a 15-foot projection screen. Reserved tickets are $20 per person and include a complimentary cocktail or sparkling wine or beer flight (tax and gratuity included).

Freedom Mule at E.P. & L.P.

Ok, so technically E.P & L.P. is an Australian joint but our friends down under still know how to throw one hell of a Party In The U.S.A. The rooftop hotspot will open at noon on July 4 and July 5 for a two-day bash with burgers, beer and an abundance of cocktails. While celebrating America’s Independence, try the Freedom Mule cocktail, made with Guillotine Heritage Vodka, muddled pink peppercorns, Aperol apéritif,  lemon juice, agave syrup, house-made spicy tincture and garnished with a piece of banana leaf and chili threads.
