PARK SLOPE – Sad news: Terroir Park Slope is closing down soon. Eater first noticed that the corner space on Fifth Avenue was for rent, and partner Paul Grieco confirmed the news. The East Village, Murray Hill and Tribeca locations will remain open.
DUMBO: NYC’s first store selling only all-American spirits is now open in DUMBO. The concept, which was started in 2012 as an online shop, has expanded to MOUTH Indie Spirits + Wine Gallery and features a line-up of small-batch, craft spirits, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. 192 Water Street, DUMBO; www.mouth.com
LOWER EAST SIDE: The owners of the Scarab Hookah Lounge in the East Village are looking to open a new spot called Zu Zu Lounge at 279 Houston Street, according to an application submitted to Community Board 3. The location was previously home to a boutique called A Little Wicked and they are requesting a full liquor license, and will serve “Middle Eastern light fare.” Zu Zu Lounge appears before the SLA subcommittee on May 12.
