LATIN HERITAGE MONTH 2021 CONTINUES THE CELEBRATION WITH LATINX BARTENDERS CRAFTING INSPIRED COCKTAILS FEATURING PERRIER®

Every year from September 15th to October 15th, we honor the tremendous contributions and celebrate the vibrant cultures of the Latinx^ community in the U.S. For 2021, Perrier® has teamed up with Latinx bartenders in the U.S. to create cocktails that pay homage to their culture and traditions. Each week throughout the month, we will be sharing Latinx bartenders who should be on your radar and their creative cocktails featuring Perrier® to showcase their talents and personal style of bartending.

PERRIER® CELEBRATES LATIN HERITAGE MONTH 2021

Yolanda Baez (she / her)

Representing Puerto Rico at Broken Shaker in New York City

Recao cocktail featuring Perrier® Original

  • 2oz Cuban white rum
  • .75oz Lime juice
  • 1.5oz Cucumber juice
  • .25oz Recao (cilantro) tincture
  • .75oz Sage syrup
  • Finish with Perrier® Original

Add all ingredients to the shaker, pour into a rocks glass, and finish with Perrier® Original.

Representing Mexico & Guatemala at Big Kids in Chicago

Sabado Naranja (spirit free) cocktail featuring Perrier® Lime

  • 1 oz Orange juice
  • 1 oz Pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz Coconut milk
  • 0.5oz Lime juice
  • 2 oz Perrier® Lime

Add all ingredients (except Perrier® Lime) to shaker with crushed ice and shake once. Add 2oz Perrier® Lime after shaking and pour everything into the glass and finish with more crushed ice. Sprinkle Tajin on top for garnish.

Obrigada cocktail with Perrier® Lime

  • 1.25 oz Silver Cachaca
  • .50 oz Banana liquor
  • .50 oz Suze
  • .25 oz Lime juice
  • 4 drops Tiki Bittiers
  • Top 4oz Perrier® Lime

Shake ingredients except Perrier® Lime and pour into a highball glass with kold draft ice, top with Perrier® Lime and garnish with a banana leaf

El Tarascó (spirit free) cocktail featuring Perrier® Original

  • .5 oz Simple syrup
  • .5 oz Cucumber juice
  • .75 oz Lime juice
  • 2 oz Charanda
  • Perrier® Original

Serve in a highball glass and garnish with a basil sprig.

Representing Cuba and Spain (Hispanic) at Broken Shaker in Miami

Camino a la Bodega cocktail featuring Perrier® Original

  • 1.5 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz. Grapefruit cordial*
  • 0.5 oz Lime juice
  • Perrier® Original
  • Garnish w/ spicy salt** rim

*Grapefruit Cordial – 200 ml water, 125 g sugar, 5 g citric acid, 1 pinch of ascorbic acid, 1 whole grapefruit zested and infused for 24 hours at room temp. in a vacuum bag or ziplock

**Spicy Salt – sea salt, sugar, smoked paprika, cayenne, cinnamon

Calendula Collins featuring Perrier® Original

  • 1 oz Marigold Cardamon cordial*
  • 1 oz lemon
  • .75 grapefruit
  • 0.5 ginger
  • Perrier® Original

Shake and strain into a Collins glass and top with Perrier® Original. Garnish with fresh mint, marigold flower and angostura bitters,

*Marigold Cardamon cordial: First step oleo sacrum by weight: equal parts lemon peels to sugar (1000g). After sugars and oils combined, steep 400g of cracked cardamom and marigold flowers for about 15 min, bring to a boil, and then let cool and strain.
