Let Us Create Art Exhibition & Party – Cambodian Charity in NYC

It’s no secret that Thirsty likes, nay LOVES, to drink! The only things we love more than drinking are puppies and drinking for a cause.

Tonight and tomorrow, New Yorkers have the change to hydrate charitably at Ducks Eatery and Sweetwater Social, respectively. Both evenings are to benefit Let Us Create art exhibition, a registered Cambodian non-profit organization that provides art therapy, outreach support and education to a community of underprivileged families – focusing specifically children who are forced to scavenge for a living in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.f

Let Us Create Art

First, drinks at Ducks tonight. After 9pm, $2 from every Ilegal Mezcal Watermelon Gimlet sold will be donated to Let Us Create. Additionally, $15 will get you an amazing new t-shirt and a shot of Ilegal. As an added bonus, there will most likely be a puppy at tonight’s event. This is not a joke.

Second, the main event at Sweetwater Social tomorrow night! Not to belittle tonight’s event, but tomorrow is kind of a big deal. Not only will there be delicious cocktail specials from Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur, but there will be actual artwork from these little Cambodian artists! Make sure you bring a big bag, because silent auction winners will be taking home art. Party starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm, with cocktails, videos, art, and so much fun in between.

Tonight (10/8) 9pm — 1am — Ducks Eatery, 351 East 12th Street
Tomorrow (10/9)  6pm — 9pm — Sweetwater Social, 643 Broadway
