Literary Pub Crawl Heading To Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill

Drinking and writing have always been synonymous with one another – or so we’ve heard (wink, wink). And lots and lots of famous writers have roots in NYC.

Now, the organizers of the boozy Greenwich Village Literary Pub Crawl are bringing their tour to Brooklyn, showing off some of the best-known writer haunts throughout Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill – while grabbing cocktails at each stop.

“This is for lovers of literature and for people who appreciate a good drink,” Eric Chase, owner and tour guide for the pub crawl, told DNA Info.

Last spring, the tour took guests on a non-alcoholic walking tour through Brooklyn Heights, where people could see the homes of writers including W.H Auden, Anaïs Nin, H.P. Lovecraft and Truman Capote, who is said to have written part of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” on Willow Street.

The details are still being finalized but expect more info soon.
