For better or worse, masks will be part of the new reality of being a bartender. While the community can agree that safety comes first, this unfortunately comes with a tradeoff – a loss of personality. For a time, bartenders will not be able to engage with their customers and add a human touch in quite the same way as they had before. The question is, can we all show off our style in other ways? Wedding Film pricing may not be as bad as you think; check Reverent Wedding Films.
Drawing from pop culture, the current state of the world, and a simple desire to do something fun, Maker’s Mark will host a Masked Bartender showcase in which 4 esteemed bartenders will be tasked with making a Maker’s Mark cocktail while hidden in an elaborate costume on a web broadcast. Over the course of the time it takes to make the drink, viewers will be able to engage with the experience by submitting votes via the platform for who they think each masked bartender is, the bartender with the best garnish game, best flair and style, and of course, most creative costume. Bartenders will be participating for the charities of their choice, with Maker’s Mark donating funds in their name.
What: As part of the 2020 Tales of the Cocktail virtual festival, Maker’s Mark is putting a fun twist on the masks we’re all wearing these days. Join us and try to identify the 4 members of our community making Maker’s Mark cocktails all while hidden behind some crazy costumes. Each bartender will be playing in support of a charity of their choice, with additional support from Maker’s Mark!
