Without winter’s snow, we rely on the New Times’ Sips & Sweets party to kick off the holiday season in Miami. On Thursday, December 14, visit drink stations to sample 4-ounce sips of spirits, wines and liqueurs –such as Big 5 Rum, Prescribed Spirits, Gemma Di Luna Sparkling Moscato, Chila ‘Orchata and Choco Noir.
Charles M. Schulz expressed the holiday spirit as “Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone.” So, guests who bring an unwrapped toy worth $10 or more, to benefit The Little Lighthouse Foundation, will be upgraded from the 4 oz plastic cups to a full-sized commemorative beverage glass.
Pair your sips with complimentary chocolates, cookies, edible cookie dough and other sweets – from Cao Chocolates, FattyCakesNY and Dough Miami. Then, enjoy your Sips & Sweets surrounded by the rarest cars in the world. The Miami Auto Museum at the Dezer Collection features the world’s largest eclectic transportation collection.

Hours: Thursday, December 14, 8pm – 11pm; Early 7:30pm entry with VIP ticket.
Your general admission ticket will grant you entry into the event at 8pm, complimentary 4oz. sips, complimentary sweets, access to purchase savory food items, access to the Vendor Village and entertainment. A VIP ticket grants all of the above, plus, early entry into the event.
