There’s a brand new spot to enjoy beer, wine and coffee on the Lower East Side: River Coyote, now open on Ludlow Street. Morning sippers can enjoy coffee from Nobletree Coffee in Brooklyn, roasted locally in Red Hook, with a focus on espresso. Think lattes, flat white and cappuccino.

Owner Jay Nir has sourced a 3Temp Hipster Brewer, which can control the temperature and brew method for each coffee, as well as Modbar under -the-counter espresso machines.

Looking for something boozy? There is a solid wine list (served daily from 11am), with 16 options from France, Italy, California and New York available on tap – 8 reds and 8 whites – which are served from a custom-built triple fridge draught system.

There is also local craft beer, cider, cold brew and kombucha served on tap.

River Coyote Now Open

Snacks include locally baked pastries from Dough, and cheese from Saxelby Cheesemongers at the Essex Market. Dinner will launch soon, so stay tuned.
