The Pool and The Pool Lounge inside NYC’s Seagram Building

Major Food Group unveiled its breathtaking restoration of the landmark Pool Room at the former Four Seasons Restaurant, now to be known as THE POOL. THE POOL’s new cocktail lounge, named The Pool Lounge, features a handmade bar “crafted of mother of pearl,” will become the destination to enjoy inventive, fruit-focused cocktails under separate reservation. Major Food Group’s Beverage Director, Thomas Waugh designed a cocktail menu with highlights including “mango” and “cucumber.” To complement the cocktails, there will be a selection of perfectly cooked crispy bar snacks along with a selection from Chef and Partner Rich Torrisi’s seafood-centric POOL menu like lush toasts, pristine raw items, oysters and caviar.

Opening tomorrow, the Italian fast-casual corner joint powered by Samantha Wasser (By Chloe) and Chef Ali LaRaia boasts authentic fare inspired by Italy’s unique regions and cuisines, with a focus on making fresh pasta daily. The restaurateur-chef duo offers a made-to-order selection of salads, sandwiches, antipasti, and pasta. Come through with the evening crowd – Sip a spritz then finish a wine carafe (with the girls, of course). Pick on the Antipasto Board with freshly baked foccacia, pecorino, prosciutto etc. etc. Lounge on the pale pink banquettes, and snap the neon sign that says “Mangiano, Baby!”
