On August 21st, we will experience the Great American Eclipse, first total solar eclipse from coast to coast in nearly 100 years. Where to Watch the Solar Eclipse in New York City
To make sure that you don’t miss this rare sight, make sure and pick up a pair of free solar eclipse glasses at any Warby Parker store. This will be the first time in 99 years that a total solar eclipse will travel across the U.S. from west to east.
Hotel Americano
If cooling by the pool is your style, head to the Hotel Americano rooftop from 12 pm to 3 pm for specialty cocktails and a selection of rosé wine for $10. There is no admission but if you want to lounge on a pool bed, there is a $40 fee for the day. All guests will also get eclipse glasses to protect their eyes from the sun.
