Oaxaca Old Fashioned at Cocina Condesa

While it might not be downright freezing, the winter chill in the air calls for a cocktail that warms from the inside out. And what better than a riff on the classic Old Fashioned, made at Cocina Condesa in Studio City with tequila instead of bourbon.

Known for their molé sauce, Bar Manager Glenn Lorenzo plays homage to this with Cocina Condesa’s Oaxacan Old Fashioned also blends maple syrup, chocolate bitters and Fresno pepper, topped with a mezcal floater and finished off with a cinnamon stick garnish, for a boozy treat that is both sweet and spicy.
