Seaspice, Miami’s stunning riverside restaurant and bar, introduces Persea Martini. This intriguing cocktail displays the brilliant sense of balance from Seaspice’s expert mixologist, Atilla Kocsis, using Baron tequila, fresh avocado, pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, garnished with fresh black pepper, resulting in a melodious Mexican medley -“mmm” for short – for the taste buds.
“We wanted to come up with a tequila drink, and tequila being from Mexico we thought about and ingredient that is wildly used in Mexican Cuisine which is the avocado,” explains Kocsis. “I like it because it is refreshing, nutritious, and has a smooth taste.”
Persea Martini Recipe and Preparation:
- 1 oz. pineapple juice
- 5 oz. Baron Silver Tequila
- Fresh black pepper
- 1 spoon of avocado
- .75 oz. simple syrup
- .75 oz. lemon juice
Add all ingredients in the order listed above into the shaker on the rocks. Shake vigorously until the avocado liquefies. Pour mix into a martini glass. Garnish with fresh black pepper
