Lush Life Productions, the first bartender advocacy agency, is bringing Portland Cocktail Week (PDXCW) back in 2022 with a new hybrid model the week of November 13 -17, 2022.  What began in 2012 as an in-person event has grown into virtual classes, spirit certifications, bartending competitions, and a thriving community of connected professionals.

Portland Cocktail Week is a week-long educational event that provides bartenders with the tools they need to take the next step in their careers through classes, networking, and guided experiences.  It’s the first bartending conference to focus on “business of the bar.”  PDXCW is free of charge for bartenders, and applications are based on the quality of their essays, geography, gender, and racial equity.

Throughout the week, bartenders will network, learn, and take big strides towards the next step in their careers.  To ensure PDXCW offers the highest level and most diverse bar business class offerings, we invite experts to curate informative, engaging, and valuable classes that will best guide students in the next phase of their careers.  In addition to the invaluable educational sessions, the team works with brand partners to create one of a kind immersive experiences and networking opportunities to reach bartenders across the country.

“Our mission with Portland Cocktail Week is to democratize tactical bar education.  Continuing to offer access to these free, virtual resources alongside in-person programming is another step toward eliminating financial barriers for anyone who wants to further their career,” said Lindsey Johnson, Founder and CEO of Lush Life Productions.

This event is part of the groundbreaking educational, networking initiatives, and progressional growth programs to improve the lives of bartenders that Lush Life focuses on.  These initiatives have touched the lives of 15,000 bartenders, providing business and life skills necessary to advance their professional development.  Their DEI initiatives place a priority on women and people of color.
