Puerto Rico Cocktail Week (PRCW) is set to celebrate its fifth edition from November 12th to 18th, with a series of special activities at La Concha Resort and various Official Bars around the island. This annual event, organized by the non-profit organization PRCW, aims to honor the art of mixology and the professionals behind it, showcasing Puerto Rican talent on an international stage.

Event Highlights

Main Events (November 12th - 18th)

The week-long celebration will kick off with an opening event at La Concha Resort in San Juan, followed by educational seminars and workshops led by industry experts. Notable speakers include:

  • Manolo López, a Puerto Rican chef and creator of the Mofongo-Go pop-up project.
  • LP O'Brien, entrepreneur and winner of Netflix's "Drink Masters" series.
  • Tara Fougner, co-founder and CEO of Thirsty Magazine, and a leading figure in the cocktail industry.

Bartender's Face Off (November 14th)

A highlight of the week is the Bartender's Face Off competition at La Factoría in Old San Juan. This event, part of PRCW's community commitment, will donate all proceeds to a charitable organization.

Local Brand Support (November 15th)

On November 15th, the event will feature a space dedicated to supporting local brands and celebrating Puerto Rican culture, providing a platform for networking and showcasing local talent.

Grand Finale Celebration (November 18th)

The week will culminate with a grand celebration at La Concha Resort, bringing together professionals and cocktail enthusiasts for a night of festivities.

Official Bars Program (November 12th - 30th)

PRCW's Official Bars program will extend the celebrations through the end of November, with 46 bars across Puerto Rico's metro, west, and south regions participating. For the first time, a Puerto Rican bar in Maine, USA, will also join in the festivities.

PRCW Tip Jar

The PRCW Tip Jar initiative was established to support the local hospitality sector, providing financial aid to those facing hardships due to illnesses, accidents, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. Contributions can be made via the PRCW website or ATH Móvil by selecting the business section and searching for "PRCW."
