Puerto Rico Cocktail Week 2020 is moving forward despite the pandemic with a new format and safety precautions in place due to the pandemic. for the festival’s second year in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Kicking off on November 15th, the festival is aimed at the cocktail industry and its fans, mainly on the island and will have a mix of virtual and limited capacity face-to-face events complying with social distancing safety practices. With the main objective of continuing to contribute to the growth, innovation and importance of the professionalization of this industry in Puerto Rico, PRCW is committed to offering the best experiences and trends in local cocktails. If anyone is planning on going to any of the in person events, we hope they will get tested for COVID-19 both before and after attending any events and comply to all of the safety rules in place.
“This second edition of Cocktail Week represents another achievement for us, even when it’s time to reinvent ourselves as part of our new normal. We want to offer you a high-level event composed of new tools, virtual experiences, and memorable moments,” highlighted the founding partner Roberto Berdecía. For the second consecutive year, the La Concha Resort Hotel joins as the official venue of the event, a place where some face-to-face workshops will be offered, taking due precautions for those present.
Registrations to be part of the official PRCW bars will be free of charge this year in order to continue supporting this industry during such unusual times. For this, they only have to meet the following requirements:
- Have the participating products available to create the official PRCW cocktail
- The registered bar must promote the event on their social networks
- Must attend one of the seminars offered
