The Simpsons Wine, Or Maybe Not?

D’OH … the classic Matt Groening classic cartoon, The Simpsons, is getting their own wine brand. Or maybe not?  News of this Constantin Bolimond and Dmitry Patsukevich project came across our desk and well, we are still trying to figure it out.  The bottles are named after the couple, Homer and Marge, and the bottle designs were inspired by Dutch painter Pieter Mondrian.

We aren’t 100% sure what to think about it but the back label just confuses us further stating, “The drink was brought to life together with the cartoon characters in 1987. Maybe it is wine, maybe not. We are inviting you to find out yourselves. The contents has been kept secret for 26 years.”

So guess we’ll have to try to snag a bottle to to find out if it’s wine … or maybe not. Either way, we are intrigued and will stay tuned to to find out.
