If you’re looking for a fancy place to dine on the Las Vegas Strip, look no further than TAO at The Venetian or LAVO at The Palazzo. Both restaurants from TAO Group Hospitality offer a unique dining experience with top-notch cuisine (pan-Asian at TAO and Italian at LAVO) and a menu full of new cocktails to sip and savor.
“The new cocktail programs at TAO and LAVO utilize mixologist-driven techniques,” said Blair Shea, assistant director of beverage for TAO Group Hospitality Las Vegas. According to Shea, the techniques to craft the specialty cocktails include cold smoking, fat washing and molecular gastronomy.
The cocktails feature unique ingredients like vegan foams, butterfly pea flower and matcha, seasonal produce, off-season preserves, and dehydrated herb and flower crystals. They also incorporate beautiful visual elements like edible printed garnishes and open flames.
But it’s more than just the techniques and ingredients that make these cocktails stand out. “Gracious hospitality is key to guest satisfaction,” Shea says. “We added elements of tableside cocktail service so we could interact even more with those choosing to dine with us and create truly memorable experiences.”
Some of the cocktail highlights at TAO include the Bubbles & Berries, Divinity, Essence, Nirvana, Smoking Dragon and TAO-tini, while LAVO’s menu features the Golden Godfather, Here Today, Gone Amaro, Italian Ice, Rocking the Hammock, Sorrento Sunset and Valencia, which are pictured below.
