In Sherman Oaks, it’s not a secret that SOCA reigns supreme when it comes to gin-centric cocktails. But this summer, the upscale restaurant and bar is letting loose and is taking on a Tiki-inspired twist with the Tiki After Ten menu.
Available on Fridays and Saturdays after 10 p.m. and Sundays after 10 a.m., the cocktails highlight rum and use local, fresh ingredients including pineapple and passionfruit. Each of the four vacation worthy libations were created by SOCA’s cocktail curator Danny Natali.
The MacDaddy is a concoction made with Rum Blend No. 2, macadamia, orgeat, lemon and Combier while the We Cross features Smith & Cross rum, pineapple, lime, falernum, Aperol and Peychaud’s.
The Seemingly Incurable is absolutely delicious and simply made with Rum Blend No. 1, orange juice, passionfruit and coconut. The Island OF rounds out the menu and features Rum Blend No. 3, Amaro, monte, Kalani coconut, banana du bresil and falernum bitters.
So even if you can’t make it to the beach this summer, you can enjoy one of these Tiki style tastes inside at the bar or on their breezy 28-seat patio.
