Joe and Misses Doe hosts “Dining Without Flynn”, a 14-course, one night only dinner. Head to Berg’n for the Food Book Party featuring “Lawless: Breaking Rules and Taking Names” with Do or Dine founder Justin Wagner and winemaker Andre Mack. There will be snacks paired with wine, and Wagner will be signing copies of the tome. Tickets are $10, available here.

Friday, November 6th:

Everyone is talking about “Spectre”, the latest James Bond flick. Channel your inner 007 at the Langham Place‘s caviar and cocktail pairing event from 7 – 9 p.m. at the hotel’s swank Measure Lounge. Monday, November 9th:

It’s Cider Week at The Pines with a night of local cider and Catskills treats. From 6 – 9 pm.m, the backyard blowout will feature drinks from Wayside Ciders and s’mores around the fire pit. Tickets are $35, available here.

Cider Week is Back!

It’s time for the Fifth Annual Cider Week in NYC. From November 6-15th, over 45 venues around the city including Gramercy Tavern, Craftbar, La Vara, L’Artusi, Delaware and Hudson, Jimmy’s No, 43, Murray’s Cheese Bar, Wassail and more will play host to New York’s regional, orchard-based hard ciders at different tastings, flights, events and classes. Modern Israeli restaurant Timna is rolling out a new brunch, complete with a selection of small plates and cocktails featuring a variety of amari, vermouths and housemade syrups. Try the Mediterranean Reviver – a riff on the classic Corpse Reviver – with Cocchi Americano, Dolin dry vermouth, and housemade star anise and juniper syrups; the Saint Mark’s Cooler with cinnamon-infused Dolin Dry Vermouth, white wine, French aperitif Bonal Gentiane Quina and apple; and Peace in the Middle East with Blanc de Blancs, Dolin Dry Vermouth, lavender and lemon.
