Irish Coffee at Burlock Coast

At Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, Head Bartender Jean-Pierre “JP” Belonni has kept pretty true to the classic preparation of the Irish Coffee, using a simple – but delicious – blend of Slane Irish Whiskey, Panther Coffee, hot water and Irish Cream whipped cream.

“When it comes to coffee cocktails, the Irish Coffee is probably the top one,” says Belonni, head bartender at Burlock Coast. “The Slane Irish Whiskey is Triple Cask whiskey giving it a really balanced flavor for Irish Coffee.”

To prepare this version of an Irish Coffee, Belonni explains, “we put all the ingredients in a Irish coffee mug and top it off with a in house Irish Cream Whipped Cream. We decorate with spices – star anise or cinnamon – to give a little of more aroma.”

  • 1.5 oz. Slane Irish Whiskey
  • 2 oz Panther Coffee espresso shot
  • 1 oz Hot water
  • Irish Cream Whipped Cream

Located on the waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach, E.R. Bradley’s Saloon is all about fun vibes, live music, yummy bites and killer cocktails. And any trip to this legendary hangout should include the Chai Me In-Slane cocktail. Made with Slane Irish Whiskey, cold drip coffee, chai tea, sherry and condensed milk, it’s great for after dinner while taking in one of the nightly live bands.

“At E.R. Bradley’s we put a twist on your average Irish coffee,” says Manager Jackie Phillips. “For our Chai Me In-Slane cocktail, we partnered with Slane Irish Whiskey and came up with this after dinner cocktail to jazz up the perception people have on a traditional Irish coffee.”
