Miami Beach’s beloved Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. has opened its first ever pop-up, Sweet Beach, in the beachfront Oasis Garden at the iconic Shelborne South Beach hotel. At this palm-tree lined outdoor paradise, sip on delicious world-class cocktails, while enjoying Sweet Beach’s locally-inspired food menu and light ocean breezes.
The outdoor pop-up bar is also a great location to watch the Big Game on the big screen as well as catch the sunset. Here are a selection of cocktails curated by Sweet Liberty’s new Creative Beverage Director, Naren Young, and his team especially for Sweet Beach:
Frozen Negroni Frappe
Ilegal Blanco Tequila, Martini Rosso, Martini Bitter and Licor 43; poured frozen, then topped with a Prosecco Floater.
Our Pina Colada
Sweet Liberty 3 Rum Blend, Pineapple and Coconut Cream; topped with Jamaican Coffee Beans and a Pedro Ximenez Floater.
South Beach Spritz
Grey Goose Vodka, Martini Fiero, Martini Blanco, Passionfruit, Sparkling Rose and Orange Blossom.
Neon Daiquiri
Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum, Tio Pepe Fino Sherry, Blue Curacao, Lime Juice and Simple Syrup; finished with 2 dashes of Saline Solution and edible Pansy Flower as garnish.
Strawberry & Ginger
Teeling Small Batch Rum, Lustau Amontillado Sherry, Strawberry Puree, Lime Juice and Simple Syrup; finished with dashes of Saline Solution and split, fresh Strawberry as garnish.
Watermelon Margarita
Cazadores Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, Fresh Watermelon, Pressed Lime, Jalapeño Agave and Tajin.
Lychee & Cucumber Cooler
Grey Goose Vodka Or Bombay Sapphire Gin, St. Germain, Fresh Cucumber Juice, Cucumber Bitters, Pressed Lemon and Perrier Cucumber Soda.
From Sweet Beach’s food menu, created by Miami’s own James Beard Award winning chef, Michelle Bernstein, feast on dishes such as Grilled Prawns Aguachili with green chili-coconut sauce, or the 8 oz grilled Sweet Beach Burger with special sauce and melting American cheese with a side of slaw and a pickle.
