Now that the weather is warmer, it’s time to scope out new places that offer the ultimate evening outdoor drinking experience. Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas is one of them. The luxurious resort recently transformed its lobby patio into the Backyard at Sundown, a new outdoor pop-up lounge.
The Backyard at Sundown, which overlooks the Backyard Pool, is the perfect place to have a night out during the spring and summer months. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and lively atmosphere with Instagram-worthy cocktails created by Chelsea Caplin, corporate mixologist for Station Casinos.
“The cocktails for Backyard at Sundown were inspired by multiple destinations known for their beautiful cocktails, including Mexico, Palm Springs, and Europe,” she says. “Everyone needs a vacation right now. These cocktails are meant to transport you on a mini-vacation through an adventurous presentation but still very approachable flavors.”
The “Backyard Sips” menu includes A Thousand Blossoms, Botanical Soiree, English Garden, The Hunny Bear, Old Fashioned Romance and Weekend In Coronado, all priced at $13 each.

Besides these refreshing cocktails, you can also order wines by the glass, by the bottle and flight rounds. There’s also a small bites menu, offering everything from seasonal fresh fruit to a charcuterie dome with chorizo, capocollo, smoked Gouda, and mince paste.
The Backyard at Sundown is open every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Walk-ins are welcomed.
