Happy birthday, America! Celebrate this Fourth of July with a throwback to your childhood, The Boozy Firecracker, at Tribeca’s Restaurant Marc Forgione. This cocktail – made with a blend of vodka, blue curacao and raspberry syrup – is a fun play on a childhood classic bomb pop Good Humor popsicle.
“The cocktail is a fun play on a childhood classic ice pop,” explains GM Michael Noah. “At the restaurant, we like to have fun, bring back a throwback in a boozy form and enjoy a refreshingly tasty cocktail.”
The Boozy Firecracker drink recipe and preparation
Drink Ingredients:
- Bottom layer – 0.5 oz blue curcao
- Middle layer – Vodka with lemon juice and simple syrup
- Top layer – Raspberry syrup
Fill high ball glass with 0.5 oz blue curcao, Add crushed ice to bottom half, Vigorously shake 1 oz vodka, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, 0. 25 oz simple syrup. Add the shaken vodka to the glass. Top with raspberry syrup.
